Just 12 minutes East of Camden, Tennessee is a great little place to have fun in the water, relax in the sun, and spend quality time with those you love most – Eva Beach! The park is an extension of, and operated by, Nathan Bedford Forrest State Park.
For directions to Eva Beach from Camden, take Lake Street from the Court Square (the street next to the United Methodist Church) toward Eva. After Lake Street Turns into TN-191S, drive 5 miles, then make a right onto Eva Beach Dr., and it will take you straight there.
It’s a great place to swim, but you can also rent Stand-Up Paddleboards and Kayaks, as well! Rental information for the paddleboards and kayaks can be found at the TN State Parks website.
In addition to the beach and swimming area, Eva Beach also has a public boat ramp and a loading dock. Take your boat out for a fun-filled day on the water! If boating or swimming isn’t your thing, you can find a suitable place to relax and fish from the shore, as well.
You can enjoy activities to do that don’t include the water; there is a playground area, pavilions for gathering, picnic spots with grills for cooking, and there is even a 9-hole Disc Golf course!
Eva Beach is great place to have an easy-going, fun-filled day, without spending any money (unless you rent paddleboards or kayaks). Drive on out and give it a try!
