Position: Shipping and Receiving Specialist

Pay: $17-$19/hr.
Summary: “The Shipping Receiving Specialist is a working position that oversees all yard operations with responsibilities of Shipping and Receiving. The Shipping Receiving Specialist manages the appearance and efficiency of the yard, including directing the movement of equipment within the yard, disposing of surplus material/clutter and generally keeping the yard in order; Receiving all newly arrived equipment or other materials; Physically examining the product and comparing the shipping documents to the Purchase Order, and ultimately the Purchase Order and shipping documents to the invoice. Properly marking the equipment received with the PO and job numbers, unloading, and loading, staging, dispatching and warehouse data entry, equipment entering and leaving, DOT Regulations, and the use of asset equipment. The Shipping Receiving Specialist must have a strong work ethic and time management skills to meet the operational objectives on time.”
